How to sell your cards to us

Selling your trading cards to SPELLROO GAMING takes four steps. Prices on our buylist are a quote; the final price is confirmed once we've inspected your cards.

    Check our buylist prices

    Search our online buylist for your Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound or Gundam singles. Add your cards, choose cash or store credit, and submit your list.

  2. 2

    Get your approval email

    We review every submission and email you once it's approved. Please hold on to your cards until then.

  3. 3

    Drop off or post your cards

    Bring them to our Concord West store or post them to us. Sort cards in the same order as your submission, take off penny sleeves and pack them tight.

  4. 4

    We inspect and pay you

    We check the condition and quantity of every card and confirm the final offer. Once you accept, we pay in cash, by bank transfer or as store credit.

Post from anywhere in Australia

Post your cards to us once your submission is approved. Postage to us is at your cost.

  • Include your name, email and submission ID in the package
  • Sort cards in the same order as your submission
  • Remove penny and inner sleeves; use top loaders for valuable cards
  • Send larger lots in a deck box, hard case or other solid container
  • Use tracked and insured postage. We can only pay for cards we receive

Cash

Paid at the counter or by bank transfer, once we've inspected your cards and you've accepted the final offer.

Store credit

Spend it on singles, sealed product and accessories at SPELLROO GAMING. During promotions, store credit can include a bonus.

Card condition guide

Our buylist prices are for Near Mint cards. We check every card by hand using these grades. If a card is in a different condition from your submission, we'll adjust the offer or decline that card.

NMNear Mint Looks unplayed or very close to it. Any marks are tiny and only seen up close.
LPLightly Played Light wear on edges or corners and small surface scuffs. No creases or bends.
MPModerately Played Clear edge and surface wear. May have a small crease or light bend.
HPHeavily Played Heavy wear, creases or scratches across the card. Still playable in a sleeve.
DMGDamaged Tears, water damage, writing, large creases or bends.

Which cards do you buy?

We buy singles for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Riftbound and Gundam Card Game. Our online buylist shows the cards and prices we're buying right now.

How are your buy prices set?

Our prices follow the market and can change with demand, supply and reprints. The price you see when you submit is a quote. We confirm the final price after we've inspected your cards.

Can I send my cards before my submission is approved?

Please wait for our approval email first. Once it arrives, drop your cards off in-store or post them to us.

How do I get paid?

Choose cash or store credit when you submit. Cash is paid at the counter or by bank transfer. We pay once your cards are inspected and you've accepted the final offer.

What if my cards are in a different condition?

Our buylist prices assume Near Mint. If a card's condition is different from your submission, we'll adjust the offer or decline that card. You can accept or reject any revised offer.

What happens to cards you don't accept?

We'll let you know which cards we can't take. If you want them posted back, return postage with tracking is at your cost.

Do you buy fake, altered or proxy cards?

No. We don't buy counterfeit, altered or non-genuine cards, and we may refuse a submission if we suspect counterfeit activity.
